EXHIBITION

Georgian Manuscripts in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register

The Georgian manuscript preserved in the National Archives of Georgia, was inscribed to the UNESCO Memory of the World Register for the third time in late 2017.

The originals and photo copies of the very manuscripts and historical documents that were inscribed to the international register since 2013 will be presented on the exhibition.

2017 – Gospel-palimpsest, 9th-10th, 12th-13th, 14th cc;

2015 – 8 ancient manuscripts;

2013 – Vakhushti Batonishvili's Atlas and ‘Description of the Kingdom of Georgia’.

The exposition will provide wider society with the opportunity to get to see all Georgian documents were granted world heritage status.

The exhibition will last for a period of one month and it's free of charge.
