Tsalka Canyon Opens to Guests!

Construction of a grandiose project began in 2019 at the Tsalki Canyon in Tsalki Municipality, and in August of this year, the project hosted its first visitors. The project will be completed in 2022 and will include the construction of a 240-meter glass bridge over the canyon, a diamond-shaped cafe-bar in the middle, as well as a premium quality hotel complex with cottages, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a zipline, camping places, and other tourism-attracting infrastructure.

The project is being implemented by the Jewish company Kass Land with an investment of 120 million. This is the first time in Georgia that foreign direct investment has been made in a Protected Area, which includes ecotourist spaces.

In the first phase of the project, the visitor center was built. This is already operational and serves guests six days a week, providing detailed information about moving in and the viewing areas of the canyon. The River Khram, which flows into the canyon, was cleaned up, and a 1500-meter trail was arranged to help visitors safely enter the cascading waterfalls.

From 2022, when the project fully opens, the Tsalka Canyon will become a calling card for Georgia, seen and enjoyed not only by locals, but also by visiting tourists. The planned infrastructure projects and attractions will allow people with all tastes and interests to find themselves and load up with emotions and great memories to take home with them.

Construction is actively underway 24/7, and Kass Land reps say it will be finished and ready for guests very soon!
